Smiths of Lerwick select Sanderson to support company growth

Sanderson, the publicly owned UK provider of software solutions to the retail industry, has won a contract to provide its EPoS solution to department store Smiths of Lerwick. Located in the Shetland Islands, Smiths of Lerwick is one of the UK’s most northerly stores. Smiths of Lerwick is a family run business made up of three retail outlets selling fashion, lingerie, luggage and travel accessories. Sanderson is providing a phased Midas solution to their three sites increasing operational efficiencies across all sales operations. Smiths of Lerwick recognised their need for better management information to support more informed purchasing decisions. Their previous system was out of date and they needed to introduce the latest EPoS and barcode scanning services at customer payment points. As a result of implementing the Midas solution, Smiths of Lerwick has access to detailed sales information and improved data analysis. This enables them to maximise profitability and operational efficiency through intelligent business decisions.
