The Freddy Hirsch Group, a Sanderson customer since 2000, is to roll out its Sanderson manufacturing system to subsidiary businesses in Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, Nigeria and Ghana. The Group, an ingredients manufacturing and distribution organisation, has grown to become the largest food ingredients manufacturer on the African continent. The roll-out will allow the company to operate a common IT platform across its business. The solution extension will be configured to facilitate ‘cash & carry’ operations and point of sale (POS), with products and prices managed by head office and downloaded to the relevant country.
Freddy Hirsch is a major user of all the available modules in the Sanderson food ERP system, UnityF8, including Factory Automation for scheduling and control of recipe weighing and multiple dispensing systems.
