Two progressive wholesale companies, J.W. Gray & Co and Robinson’s Fresh Foods, have recently signed up for the latest Sanderson wholesale distribution system, Swords. The software, designed specifically for the wholesale and cash & carry industries, will help both companies to achieve their growth ambitions and improve operational efficiencies across their businesses.

The new customers cover fast moving sectors including grocery, frozen, chilled and fresh foods. J.W. Gray & Co will be first to realise solution benefits with its project commencing this spring and scheduled to go live in July 2016. The implementation project at Robinson’s Fresh Foods will start in the autumn and is set to go live in February 2017.

Additional solutions selected by J.W. Gray & Co and Robinson’s Fresh Foods to enhance their operations include: voice directed warehouse management system (WMS) to boost the productivity and efficiency of warehouse operations, mobile CRM, which enables staff to work away from the office with 24/7 access to stock and customer information, web ordering and the bonded warehouse solution for simplifying the management of duties and levies.
