Sanderson to supply Peter’s Food Service with new food ERP system to support growth
Sanderson, the publicly-owned provider of software for the food and drink industry, has won a major contract to supply its food manufacturing ERP system to pastry maker Peter’s Food Service.
Peter’s bakes over 3 million pies and pastries each week at its Caerphilly factory, to service 13,500 customers spanning restaurants, hotels, stadiums and retailers.
In order to meet its growth ambitions, Peter’s conducted a review of its internal business systems, in order to identify areas of potential improvement.
Peter’s saw the potential to boost its performance if a food-specialised ERP software platform could be found to streamline its operations end-to-end and reduce IT costs. A review of ERP providers, including confidential discussions with other food manufacturers to find satisfied long-term ERP customers, led them to Sanderson and its UnityF8 food ERP software.
Peter’s found that Sanderson, a food ERP software specialist for 30 years, most readily provided the capabilities its management team sought in a modern food manufacturing ERP system and IT partner.
