Bonded Warehousing

Swords bonded warehousing is an integrated part of its stock control, sales order processing and purchase ordering modules.

Up to 50 bonded locations can be supported, each of which can be allocated a separate excise deferment code, thus allowing for the management of multiple bonded locations within the same Swords system.

Stock held in a bonded location is strictly controlled by a batch reference number (or rotation code) and is valued pre-duty. When stock is transferred to a normal duty-paid location, the duty is calculated and added into the duty-paid cost.

AAD and W8 documentation can be produced when shipping bonded goods to other EC and UK bonded warehouses.

Receipts into bond, adjustments into and out of bond, transfers out of bond to duty-paid locations and movements out of bond to other bonded warehouses are all recorded, allowing for the production of all necessary Customs & Excise reporting requirements (e.g W5, W5D and W1 excise returns).
