In response to retailers’ requirements, Sanderson offers a pre-emptive maintenance service which allows you to detect and correct any issues within your IT estate which are likely to cause problems if not addressed.
An experienced and qualified engineer will visit your sites to conduct physical checks, of both your hardware and its environment, to identify and fix any issues before they become a problem. The service includes but is not restricted to; running diagnostics, checking disk space, identifying rogue software, physical examination of hardware for signs of damage and checking of cable wear etc. Our engineers will also open cases and clean hardware to ensure your kit is not at risk from dust or any other pollutants. Your environment type may necessitate more or less of these type of checks, we’ll work out a package based on your requirements.
The majority of clients opt for two visits per site, per year, which is sufficient for ‘usual’ retail environments. However, each pre-emptive maintenance programme is tailored for our clients’ exact requirements. Factors such as the environment in which your tills are kept will help us to design a package that suits your individual needs.
