All IBM RSS partners compete for the European Sales Leadership award which is presented annually to the top performing solution providers. The award recognises outstanding contribution to the RSS brand and is only given to IBM Business Partners who generate significant business for IBM by promoting sales of IBM hardware and platforms.
Key to Sanderson achieving the award was the sale to Fenwick, the premier independent UK department store group. Sanderson won the contract to supply all ten stores with Retail-J, the web based application for central management and control of the retail estate. The contract included the replacement of 650 tills, sale of 850 licenses and supply of comprehensive support services. The implementation encompassed everything from software and hardware supply to configuration workshops, training, go-live support and decommissioning of the original hardware.

The award was presented by Andrew Carr, IBM’s Retail Store Solutions Manager, at IBM Retail Store Solutions Business Partner University in May this year.
