Shop Floor Data Collection (SFDC) for manufacturers

Using touch screens on your shop floor, Unity ERP software lets you:

• Record information against work orders on the shop floor
• Manage work-to lists, job costing, quality testing, and time and attendance
• Real-time visibility of active, suspended and completed jobs

You can use the shop floor touch-screens to view and capture Work-in-Progress and Job Costing information in real time. Functions are available for both shop floor staff and their supervisors/managers.

Workstations – shop floor touch screen PCs

Your shop floor staff can use SFDC workstations to:

• Pick and track jobs from a work-to list
• Record quality results
• View job material status
• Suspend complete jobs
• Check-in for accurate Time & Attendance records

You can configure SDFC to suit your businesses, so only data that is required has to be input. Bar-code scanners can be attached to the touch-screen PCs, so data can be scanned in rather than keyed.

Supervisor/Manager visibility of your shop floor

The SFDC Data Controller manages job bookings and gives a supervisor/manager full visibility of all active, suspended and completed jobs and operations that have been processed by employees. Transaction details can be expanded for employees and operations, and amendments and authorisations of payroll bookings can be made.

Time & Attendance (T&A)

You can also use SFDC with a Time and Attendance (T&A) system, to maintain a real-time view of employees on and off site, and automatically manage the suspension and re-activation of jobs. Employee time bookings can be based on shift patterns and can also take into account scheduled breaks.
