StockWatch

StockWatch is a stock management application designed by Sanderson to enable retailers to both reduce the time taken to manage stock - and to improve the accuracy of stock management processes - and much more beyond. The StockWatch solution seamlessly integrates with the Retail-J application to provide a complete overview of stock across your entire retail estate.

StockWatch combines two elements; Hand Held Terminals (HHTs) which are used across the estate to manage stock movements, and the central management component, where data from the terminals is received, audited and transmitted back out to the estate to provide a complete and perpetual stock inventory.

StockWatch in the store

HHTs can be used in the store to perform a variety of tasks, below are just an example:

• Price checking - current and original prices can be checked instantly
• Stock awareness - instant checks of available stock, on site, in region or at the warehouse
• Price adjustments & ticketing - for activating permanent or temporary mark-downs
• Write-offs - Record and report on what and why stock is removed from sale
• Queue-busting - alleviate queues by capturing the customer basket ready for quick payment at the EPoS
• Gift lists - allows customers to create their own lists by scanning available products in the store
• Customer ordering - improves customer service by enabling orders to be taken anywhere in the store, not just at the EPoS or customer services desk
• Stock taking & perpetual inventory - allows stock to be accurately checked against expected amounts
• Inter-branch transfers - provides full visibility of transfer of stock from store to store
  
  These functions help improve efficiency, increase accuracy and reduce shrinkage.

StockWatch in the back office and warehouse

Again, HHTs can be used in the back office and warehouse for a variety of tasks, below are brief examples:

• Goods inwards - for checking & recording deliveries into the warehouse or store
• Picking - for picking stock ready for despatch, to stores or direct to customers
• Goods despatch - for despatching goods out of the warehouse
• Stock taking - enabling you to know exactly what you have in your warehouse
