Elimating costly mixing errors on the factory floor

"Factory floor data capture has enabled us to eliminate errors that would previously go undetected because, essentially, it’s impossible for the operator to make a mistake.

Instances when products were mixed incorrectly have been eliminated.

Every mistake leads to wasted materials, time and effort, so if you convert that to financials, I’ve no doubt it’s made a significant saving."

Complete control of despatch in the warehouse

"Before, we might send out 5 tonnes of a product, but the paperwork said 5.5 tonnes. There were a lot of discrepancies like that. We used to raise 20, 30 or even 40 credit notes every month for short deliveries.

These have been eliminated - and that is purely down to the robustness of Formul8. It has bought us complete confidence in the data; we’ve been able to eliminate mistakes from our processes.”

"We have exact times from the factory floor, we have precise quantities, we have accurate  timings and we can report on all this within just a few minutes. The ability to draw on data, almost instantaneously, has been a huge advantage to us.

I have never asked the system a question that it’s not been able to answer. As a business we’ve been able to make decisions quickly and confidently because of the visibility we have from the Sanderson system."

Improved stock control and customer service
