More manufacturers invest in the lastest Sanderson ERP solutions

News summary Autumn 2011:

Manufacturing and print businesses are continually strengthening their operations and improving efficiency by investing in upgrades and additional modules for their Sanderson solutions. Here are some recent highlights:

A food packaging technology provider has recently implemented Unity to enable functional development and increased efficiency. The UK-based company is also benefiting from Shop Floor Data Capture (SFDC) touchscreen PC’s. These additional modules shall provide improved production visibility and allow factory floor staff to view documents. To further improve efficiency, Unity will be linked into the company’s CAD system, with a planning board providing enhanced visibility of the work schedule.

A leading manufacturer and supplier of educational and industrial test equipment are implementing Unity after undergoing a business analysis. The analysis, which was carried out by Sanderson, illustrated how the business has changed over a number of years. With the Unity system, the business will enjoy an improvement in all core processes, with the addition of the Green IT aspect providing server virtualisation. Green IT shall enable a reduction in IT hardware and maintenance costs.

An engineering plastics firm, has recently gone live with their Unity ERP upgrade. The upgrade will allow the integrated system to replace disparate systems such as Excel. In addition to this, Unity ERP will bring a quick return on investment due to the cost savings associated with the upgrade.

An electronics manufacturer has recently adopted the Data Warehousing module within Unity. The module will support integration with the company’s group-wide reporting. This integration will, in turn, benefit the company’s international management by enabling a continual, low maintenance provision of data.

A Worcestershire-based service provider of aerospace components has ordered 33 Shop Floor Data Collection touchscreen terminals. These terminals, which will integrate with the company’s current system, shall provide increased visibility to a company who operates a comprehensive range of services all from one site.

A leading manufacturer of security print, ticketing and labelling products has ordered 20 Shop Floor Data Collection touchscreen terminals for its factory. The terminals shall integrate into the company’s current Unity system, providing improved accuracy and visibility of data from the factory.

A Northern-England based stainless steel processor has further enhanced their Unity system by introducing Server Consolidation with Virtualisation. This use of Green IT will reduce the company’s server environment to a single physical machine. Furthermore, the virtualisation will allow the company to enjoy reduced energy costs and space requirements.

A designer and manufacturer of high quality precision gauges has chosen Sanderson to provide a new server and additional 10 year support. These aspects will lead to an improvement of business resilience for the Doncaster-based company.
