Two more Country Range Group Members choose Sanderson

Sanderson, the publicly owned UK provider of software solutions to the Delivered Wholesale and Cash & Carry industries, has recently introduced its leading Business Intelligence solution to Country Range members, Caterite Foodservice and Turner & Price.

Turner Price Ltd, based in East Yorkshire, is an independent foodservice wholesaler specialising in the supply of ambient, chilled, frozen foods, fresh meat, fresh vegetables and non-food consumables to over 1200 customers in Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire. Turner Price Ltd boasts a product portfolio in excess of 4,500 lines for its UK business, as well as having export and hamper divisions.

Caterite Foodservice has been the Lake District’s leading independent foodservice supplier since the business began in 1969. Based in Cumbria, the company supplies dry goods, fresh produce, chilled and frozen foods to the catering industry. For the past 15 years Caterite has also provided wine products to the catering industry.

Both companies already benefit from using Swords, the software solution from Sanderson, designed specifically for Delivered Wholesale and Cash & Carry businesses. The installation of the Business Intelligence module provides these companies with a powerful business reporting solution to analyse information held within their Sanderson system.

Business Intelligence enables the interrogation of data from all areas of the business in a quick and simple manner, providing easy analysis of sales, purchase and stock information. For example, sales performance can be compared against any time frame required, such as year on year, or month on month. Customer buying patterns and seasonal trends can also be analysed and compared. By providing a tool to instantly interrogate and analyse data, the Sanderson solution allows key decision makers to make informed business critical decisions.

The Business Intelligence solution presents data graphically; providing instant visual trend analysis. Dashboards can be created to monitor key areas and pinpoint issues for further action, providing the management team with complete visibility of what is happening within their business. Traffic light indicators are used to highlight areas of the business that are working successfully, as well as flagging areas that need attention, so that consequential action can be taken.
