These annual industry-renowned awards recognise the contribution and overall performance of the Today's Group wholesale members.
On the night, wholesaler Robinson’s received two awards, winning the award for Business Initiative of the Year and highly commended for Foodservice Operator of the Year. Dee Bee Wholesale also picked up two awards, winning Member of the Year and highly commended as Retail Operator of the Year, whilst highly commended in the Business Initiative of the Year category was HT Drinks. Closing the awards ceremony on a high, the night’s most distinguished award for Outstanding Contribution to Wholesale 2017 went to Sucha Singh from Thames Cash & Carry.
The winners drive their businesses using the Sanderson specialist wholesale IT system, Swords. This single integrated system is used by more than 120 wholesale and cash & carry businesses to improve warehouse efficiencies and support business expansion.
The latest digital advancement includes a new customer app which targets the ‘always on the go’ next generation customer. These digital innovations build upon the core Swords functionality and are designed to enable customers to elevate their services, increase sales, improve operational efficiencies and reduce costs.
