Sanderson is celebrating cross-sale success following its acquisition of cloud-based multi-channel retail expert One iota. A leading online retailer and Sanderson Elucid customer has now selected One iota to provide a new mobile commerce solution to support accelerated business growth.

The new mobile solution will integrate seamlessly with the company’s existing Elucid back office and supply chain system, allowing the business to take advantage of the rapid market shift to mobile commerce.

Sanderson has won a major order from a new customer in the footwear sector. The customer, a shoe manufacturer and retailer, has chosen the Elucid multi-channel retail solution from Sanderson, as part of a strategic initiative to grow the retail side of its business. The Elucid solution will streamline operations and provide full retail management to integrate website, catalogue and B2B (business-to-business) sales and facilitate growth. The footwear company chose Elucid because of the extensive functionality and scalability it offered, together with its pedigree of supplying proven solutions to businesses in the sector.

Sanderson has generated a record order intake of over £1.5m from online sales, ecommerce and mobile solutions in the first six months of its financial year. The Group has achieved record sales of its Elucid multi-channel software and of solutions from One iota, the cloud-based multi-channel retail expert acquired last year. Sales are being driven by the growth of ecommerce, the demand for mobile-optimised solutions, and the adoption of in-store technology to integrate on and offline shopping and deliver omni-channel retailing.

Cloggs, the online ‘home of footwear’ retailer, has selected the Elucid multi-channel retail solution from Sanderson, to support its accelerated business growth, following acquisition by JD Sports Fashion Group last year.
