Proteus WMS customer ticks all the right boxes to win 3 prestigious Motor Transport awards for the second year running

The Motor Transport Awards held in July, celebrate outstanding achievement in the industry, and recognise innovation, customer service, efficiency and quality. This year, for the second year in a row, DPD UK scooped 3 awards in the categories of Customer Care, Innovation, and Home Delivery operator of the year. This is even more impressive when you consider that no other company won more than one award.

The awards, presented by comic and entertainer John Bishop, were judged and awarded by an independent panel of experts drawn from the industry. The judges said,” DPD once again impressed with its strong business performance, and industry leading innovations. Their end-customer app Your DPD allows customers to personalise their delivery experience by changing their preferences within the application.”

DPD’s CEO, Dwain MacDonald expressed his delight, ”What a fantastic result! To win another three awards at the Motor Transport Awards this year is incredible. Everyone says that in this industry you can’t stand still for a minute, but to keep innovating year on year in a tough industry like ours, takes an immense team effort. The Your DPD app was the clearly star of the show, with over 1.5 million downloads by people in the UK.”
