John McBride strides forward with Sanderson wholesale solution

Sanderson, the publicly owned UK provider of software solutions to the Delivered Wholesale and Cash & Carry industries, has won a contract to supply its Wholesale Distribution solution to Irish wholesaler John McBride.

John McBride provides a wholesale distribution foodservice throughout Ireland. As a member of the Horeca foodservice group, they benefit from group buying power – in turn offering their customers the most competitive prices. The company was looking for an IT solution that would improve the overall efficiency of their business.

John McBride had previously been running their wholesale operation using a bespoke system which was becoming time-consuming to use. They urgently needed to replace this system with a simple to install solution that allows them to grow the business at their own pace. They found the answer with Sanderson and Swords.

The fact that Horeca foodservice group had already selected Swords as their system of choice for their national account handling had a big influence over John McBride’s overall decision. As a Horeca group member, the ability for them to link quickly and easily into the Horeca group system is vital. John McBride recognised that implementing Swords would not only overcome this problem, but would enable them to manage their entire wholesale operation. The solution integrates all areas of the supply chain, making it easier to balance the demands of sales, purchasing, stock and cash flow.
