LTE Scientific takes business forward with Sanderson

Sanderson, the publicly owned provider of manufacturing software has successfully completed implementation of its Unity software at LTE Scientific, a leading European manufacturer and supplier of steam sterilizers (autoclaves).

LTE Scientific, based near Oldham, has over 60 years’ experience in supplying, installing and servicing laboratory equipment. The company manufactures a large range of autoclaves for the hospital, education, research, biotech, and other technology sectors.

Growth across its operations, particularly within its engineering functions, had seen LTE Scientific outgrow the existing Sanderson system which had helped manage its business for many years. The company sought consultancy to find a suitable replacement that would integrate and optimise its current operations and, importantly, provide a flexible platform which could adapt to future business needs.

The company chose to implement the latest Unity solution from Sanderson, after a clear demonstration of the substantial time and cost efficiencies the system would bring to its business. The project included a complete review of business processes and a move towards ‘standard’ procedures to increase efficiency, visibility and responsiveness across the enterprise.

Kim Cooper, Finance Director at LTE Scientific commented:

“We have recently gone live on our new Unity system which is fully meeting our expectations and helping us to move the business forward. Our longstanding relationship had established our confidence in Sanderson, but the success of this implementation has increased it further. The new solution will help us leverage further efficiencies across our operations and we look forward to developing our business with Sanderson into the future.”

Steve Shakespeare, Managing Director of manufacturing systems at Sanderson said;

“We are delighted to have helped an established customer take their IT systems strategy forward to the next level. LTE Scientific’s decision to implement Unity once again validates the strength and value of the long-term relationships we build with our customers, the investment in our products and the quality of our people.”
