red roseOne iota, the experts in cloud based multi-channel retail solutions recently acquired by Sanderson, have been shortlisted in not just one, but two categories at the prestigious Red Rose Awards.

The Red Rose Awards, now in their 4th-year, are designed to celebrate Lancashire business, to provide the best possible platforms to promote success and to encourage inter-trading in the county. There are 20 awards in a range of categories open to businesses based in Lancashire, with finalists being judged according to key criteria - including competitiveness, management, financial performance, innovation and customer service.

One iota has been shortlisted for two Awards - Innovation and Ecommerce – as a result of its innovative solutions which power multi-channel ecommerce at leading retailers such as SuperDry, Mamas & Papas and Littlewoods. In addition, the company’s new mobile-enabled SmartPod technology, which allows customers to bring in-store and ecommerce solutions together, has driven impressive sales growth over the past 12 months.

Damian Hanson, co-founder and CEO of One iota, said: "We are so delighted to be shortlisted in two categories. This is a testament to the hard work of the whole team at One iota. As a Lancashire-based business, being recognised for these local awards is a fantastic acknowledgement of our business achievements.”

The Awards - to be held in Blackpool on Thursday 13th March 2014 - are sponsored by Barclays and Forbes Solicitors. The judges’ panel is drawn from business, academia, journalism and business support, including sector specialists and previous winners.
